Hi,
Is it possible to ban comments by a certain user. We have one user which needs to be able to view the site, but must not be allowed to place comments.

you can use SpamX to ban his IP. I think he will still be able to view but not post.

The user in question is a special guest log on for the site and as such could be coming in from many an IP address.
