Weird Problem w/thtml files?
I read the documentation, and copied the archivebodystorytext.thml and archivestorytext.thtml files from the 'professional' theme over into the installed Klear Blue theme.
However, now when anyone (besides me) goes to the Geeklog site, even though I have 'Klear Blue' selected as the theme, visitors see the 'Professional' theme on their systems.
Is there some code I need to change in those archivebodystorytext.thml and archivestorytext.thtm files that I copied into my Klear Blue theme?
Thanks and HUGz! Jules

You should copy the storybodytext.thtml from your Klear Blue theme to it's archive equivelent. These two templates archive and non-archive story template are the same - except you may then want to tweak the archive version so the site vistors can more clearly distinguish archvied content.
If you copy these files from another theme - then you have that theme's formatting and CSS.
The .thtml files are just HTML with {variables} which are then replaced at display time with dynamic site content from the database.

Blaine ... I'm not sure I understand, and don't want to screw something up.
Are you saying:
Open the Klear Blue's storybodytext.thtml.
Copy the code from that thtml and paste it into the archivestorytext.thtm file, overwriting what is there?
Sorry if I sound clueless, but I just want to make sure I understand.
Thanks bunches! Jules

Yep do that or just copy the file. They can be the same to begin with or leave them that way. We use the archive templates to allows sites the option of theming archived stories differently.
The story formatting uses the two templates storybodytext.thtml and storytext.thtml and thus you need to copy these to their archived name equivelents.

Thanks, Jules

neither of those files should affect an entire site's theme.
is your default theme set to "professional" or "klear blue" in your config.php file?
look for this line:
$_CONF['theme'] = 'professional'; // default theme
remember, even if your preferences set one theme as your default, the site's default will be whatever config.php says until it is overridden by the user's preferences.
hope that helps.

Machinari, is the config.php file, the one in the main Geeklog directory? I didn't see a config.php file in the 'klearblue' directory, but I want to make sure the one in the main geeklog directory is the one to change?
If so ... yes, it is set to professional -- and I'll change it ... if that's the right file.
Thanks and HUGz! Jules

Machinari ... I changed it in the config.php file, but the 'professional' theme is still showing up.
define your Geeklog site. |
// +---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
$_CONF['theme'] = 'klearblue'; // default theme
//
Any other changes I'm supposed to make?
Thanks! Jules
