Hi,

Is it possible to display news from a certain topic along with a particular forum in the center? Let me give an example of what I'm trying to accomplish.
Let's say I've created a topic called "A" and I also have a forum created for "A". I can post stories under the topic of "A" and there will be forum posts on "A" but rather than have users go to the Forum and look at the Topic for content about "A" separately, I'd rather create a static page that combines them into one view.

Any advice or pointers on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.

You could try modifiying the forum's centerblock such that it does what you want. That would at least give you a list of the recent forum posts for topic A.
