I just upgraded to 1.3.11. One question about comments.

Nested comments looks so much better than threaded comments. How would i make Nested comments the default for all new users.

I've been using GL for about 2 yrs. and I am glad to see how it is evolving. Kudos to all that make it possible and ty for the great support Dirk.

config.php:
Text Formatted Code
$_CONF['comment_mode']          = 'threaded'; // Default Comment Mode; from 'threaded','nested','nocomments',and 'flat'

bye, Dirk

If you want to switch all users to nested, you have to consider that the cookie on the user's computer still is using the default that you had before. So if you want all users to switch there, you would have to rename the cookie and replace all the entries in the users table also...

This setting is not stored in a cookie, only in the database.
