confused
When I did the upgrade I got to success.php of the install process and it all stopped. When calling the success.php all I got was a blank page.

My 1.3.9 site had all the plugins enabled and working (staticpages, forum, linkreferer, messenger, dailyquote and faqman).

After getting the blank page with ...admin/install/success.php addressed and a blank screen I thought I had done something wrong during the install. I found that the database had backed up from the 1.3.9 and the install had gone through successfully but I had to disable all plugins(except the staticpage plugin) to get my site back up. Why is this? Question Can someone help me
I have tried to enable them one by one and all of them stop the site coming up, just a blank screen. Disable them and the site is back up. The only one that worked from the upgrade was the staticpages plugin. How can I get the other plugins enabled? Can someone help me

Big Celebration Thanks I got all the plugins going now. But there is a small error which I am unsure of with some of the theme files. With the following themes (Chalktalk, Classic, Clean, Purplerose2, Alfieorge2, ShaDee2, & Simply Orange) I am getting two lots of menu items for each plugin. Why would this occur and how could I rectify it? Question

Doh! - that was a mistake Thanks Machinari for that tip I should have known. All works now.
Question Also is it possible to remove the 'Add a link' function from the web resources page? If so could you point me in the right direction of where to modify this?

how will you add links if you have no "add a link" link to get you to the form?
perhaps you just want to enable the submission cue for your links (from config.php) or perhaps you want to disable anonymous access to the links page (also from you config.php).

As the Admin, he could always add links from the Admin's links section.

k74: The link you're looking for is in the template file links/links.thtml

bye, Dirk
