I am getting this error when I am trying to install on my server

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'greerb@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /var/www/html/geeklog/system/databases/mysql.class.php on line 112
Cannnot connect to DB server"

The version of mySQL is 3.23.58

you simply need to double check that your username, password, database name, and host name (usually 'localhost') are all correctly represented in your config.php.

and what happens when it is?

I am getting the same error message, and yet everything is correct on the server side and in the config.php and lib-common.php

the above is me, for some reason I wasn't logged in.

When you get that error message then something is, obviously, not correct ...

Please double-check your settings and also refer to Access denied for user (MySQL)
