curious
I tend to post a lot of source code on my geeklog site. Many times I use the "& nbsp;" HTML character to space things out properly. I am having a problem posting these characters - GeekLog seems to stript them when I hit the preview button. Oddly, it seems to work ok if I just submit the story without previewing. I added "& nbsp;" to the list of allowable tags in config.php, but since it's not really a tag, I don't think that's where I should be looking. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. BTW, my site is tylerbutler.com.

Thanks a lot for the help machinari. And yeah, I think you're right about the null backspace thing... I am dumb :-)

well, I thought that was working, but it looks like it isn't... Now it actually just renders the character as  , which isn't really what I am looking for. I want to space code out, so I actually want it just to be a blank character...

or you could try the <pre> tag which keeps your spaces and doesn't add any extra line breaks, etc. from being stripped. You can add that tag to your allowable html admin list in config.php. I did it and it works.

just checked... <pre> is already in the list. have fun
