On my poll admin page, where I create a new poll, settings only allow anonymous R or no privs. I'd like to add a poll where anonymous (non-members) can answer. The Doc on config.php doesn't have anything about this.
The reason is I want to ask if people have tried to post a comment to a story, but were put off by being asked to create a user account.
(My site will has traffic by pretty non-technicals, as well as people who can do that.)
Anyone ever found a way to allow this? Thanks for any info!

Yes.
In config.php, look for
0 = no login required 1 = login required
As an example, we have two polls going now on our site. One anyone can see and vote on, because Anon and Members have "R"ead rights boxes checked. The other is for logged in members and only has Members "R"ead box checked.
HTH,
Chuck
Too many hands on my time.

AHA - my boo-boo in the first place, this field in config.sys was already set that way--I didn't realize "R" for read meant anonymous visitors could vote, when setting up a poll.
Still a newbie in many ways--thanks again, Chuck!
