Cannot edit stories as Admin

When logged in as Admin, I cannot edit any stories - my own or others. I double checked - the admin account has full permissions. When I click on "edit" it takes me to the edit page. I make changes, click "save" and it takes me back to the edit page. It shows the corrected changes. No matter what I do from this point, the changes don't keep. I can hit "save" again, it goes back to the edit page. If I just go to "home" or to the topic list, the changes are gone.

I've refreshed the browser, cleared the cache. There's no error messages (MySQL, Apache, GL, etc..)

I can manually go into MySql and make the change there, but that's not very efficient.

Strange, when you click save it shouldn't take you back to the edit page.
Silly question - are you clicking 'preview' instead of save ?

Which Geeklog version? Which theme (and did you try the Professional theme)? Also: register_globals = on?

bye, Dirk

Sorry, I forgot to post the version. It's GL 1.3.11, the theme is pfarm_theme_beta_002. I did switch to professional, and it actually worked then! Yes, register_globals= On in /etc/php.ini. It used to work until I upgraded GL form 1.3.9sr2. Maybe I goofed some chmod on the theme during the upgrade? Is there something in lib-common.php or config.php I should be looking for?

And yes, I am definately hitting "save". But thanks for the double check.

You have to update that theme then. See the documentation.

bye, Dirk

Perhaps we should include that as a step to the Install / Upgrade instructions?
