Looked through the docs, but did not find this one:

I want to turn on blocks in the stories -- is this possible? Basically, we have nav links in a block on the front page, and I have been asked to include them in the expanded stories.

use your admin block editor -- there is a dropdown with options for what topics you want the block to appear under.
