Hi,
Just thought I'd see if this has been done before I start going to work on it.
I'm setting up a new site (using geeklog of course ) and I need to be able to optomise the keywords for each topic/static page etc.
What I'm thinking is:
1) setup variables in header.thtml - meta_keywords, meta_description.
2) have a php script what loads the correct variable dependant on the article/staticpage title.
3) store variables in an array.
Ideally, it might be a good idea to change the topic/staticpage creation pages and store the meta data in the actual tables - but that would be a pita unless the change was add to cvs.
Would this sort of thing be of interest/use to anyone else - if so I'll go down the route of changing the creation pages and send the diff's to Dirk for consideration.
Dirk, should this be made as a change to the core files - or is a plugin better ?
