Sharing mamber info between different installs

Hi all.
I have recently started using Geeklog and I am very impressed with it. I have one probably unusual requirement, and was wondering if anyone could see an easy way to make it possible.
My site is set up into many different subdomains (content.example.com) and each area has it's own install of Geeklog. What I woudl liek to do is to set up geeklog to use only one database for member info. This will allow any member to log in on any subdomain. Easy solution woudl be to have all instalations connect to the same database, but every install has it's own content and data.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Mack.

I did
It is easy to share the entire database with many sites, but all i need is to allow members to log in on my different installs. So it is part of the DB i need to merge.

If you have all the sites in one database (but with different prefixes for the table names) then it's probably doable:
The table names are all defined in lib-database.php. You would need to change the lib-database.php for all the sites such that they use the same table names for the users, groups, and permissions tables (i.e. gl_users, gl_usercomment, gl_userindex, gl_userinfo, gl_userprefs, gl_groups, gl_group_assignments, gl_features, and gl_access).
Haven't tried that myself, though ...
