Installation errors

This is what Im getting after clicking on the New Database on the install.php:
Fatal error: Failed opening required '/apache/htdocs/geek/system/databases/mysql.class.php' (include_path='.;c:apachephppear') in c:apachehtdocsgeeksystemlib-database.php on line 114
What does this mean? The file is there, so why is it not finding it?
Also, anyway to make it so installs in the root instead of public_html ? No instructions included ( ie the portal is http://www.mysite.com not http://www.mysite.com/public_html/

Since you seem to be on Windows, you have to include the drive letter in your paths (as mentioned in config.php).
And the bit about public_html is explained in the installation instructions.
bye, Dirk

?? okay that was odd
I dont have access to any other location on the website beyond the htdocs folder so I can't upload any files that need to be above this. What do i need to change so that all the folders are in the htdocs instead of just contents of the public_html stuff
