That´s it
In example: In the main page, appears:
Monday, February 21 2005 @ 02:10 PM ART
Author: webmaster
Lectures: 2
This is a test
lectura del artículo completo (1 palabras)
I don´t want some things... can I change that? from where?
Thanks in advance guys!!!!

Click on "edit" for that story then set the permissions at the bottom of the page. You can set who can see it and who can't. also who can edit it and who can't. This option is also availible when you write a story you have to set who you want to see it.

Thanks Warren, but I meant something else (the misunderstanding probably came because of my poor english... hehe)
In example: Instead of:
Author: webmaster
I want
webmaster (just the name of the author, not the "author" word).
And things like that.
I´m pretty sure there´s a way to change that, but I don´t know how... hehe

Hmmm, unless I am completly lost, you should change your .thtml files and remove, add, replace, change place of the variables.
Example: In the professional theme a story looks like this:
Contributed by: Tony
Views: 641
This is generated by the featuredstorytext.thtml
So if you want to get rid of contributed by you would remove the {lang_contributed_by} variable.
Maybe I just completly misunderstood the question.
If a variable does contain already the string and it is not split up, you would eventually have to edit your php file, but most of the time the .thtml theme files do the trick.

Text Formatted Code
<br>{lang_contributed_by} {start_contributedby_anchortag}{contributedby_user}{end_contributedby_anchortag}<br>{lang_views}: {story_hits}</td>So if you want to get rid of contributed by you would remove the {lang_contributed_by} variable.

Hello again, guys!
I´ve been working on my brand new geeklog site, and thanks to your help, I´ve been successfully changed the look and feel of it.
But I´m a bit stuck now...
When I click on the "more" link, the right column of the single item changes, and appears "related to this" and "news option" blocks (or something like that. My blocks are in spanish.. hehe).
How can I do to avoid that blocks appearing?
I want to see always the same blocks (the ones that are at the index).
Thanks in advance guys!!!!!

I am not sure I understand what you are asking but in your blocks admin you can pick what block show up where and what side. Just pick the blick that is showing up where you don't want it to and edit it to only show up in the topic you want.

article.php (like most of Geeklog, actually) doesn't display the right blocks. To make them show up, you'd have to replace all calls to COM_siteFooter(); in that file to COM_siteFooter(true);
The What's Related and Story Options blocks aren't real blocks. They are controlled by template variables in the article/article.thtml template file of the theme you're using. You could remove them or move them somewhere else, as the Professional theme does, for example.
bye, Dirk
