login not working after migration to IIS

Hi,
After having to migrate to IIS from apache, I am no longer able to log into geeklog nor are any of my users. The site works fine when just browsing anon.
Any thoughts on what may be going on.

Read the FAQ I can't log in.

Sorry Dirk I should have explained, I had already checked faq and forum although the forum kept timing out.
GL takes the name/password and then comes back with the Try Logging in Again page, so it's not getting confused with cookies(which I had deleted anyway). I have turned off firewalls etc.

I do however use ddns http://www.dyndns.org/ to forward trafic to my server as my ip changes every 3 days. Although I doubt it is this as it's been working fine with my gl site on apache and I have tried setting cookiedomain in config.php re the Faq, and running site internally.
Any other ideas?

I think the problem may lay with IIS or PHP and the way they handle security but not sure as new to IIS.

Cheers Warren but still no joy. I have no new blocks/pluggins or changes to the header and no pull down boxs etc, The site is almost standard GL install with no real changes to the code.

ok, will try new install of GL at weekend and see what that throws up.

Are there any issues with php5 running in cgi mode with GL?

Do I need to turn on `register_globals = On` as site seems ok with it off?
