freakingout
The installation built my database then the page went blank and never gave me a success. It installed but no images show..just an x..and every link is a blank no url page.
I tried to reinstall but I get this message and it won't let me continue.
"1050: Table 'gl_access' already exists"
Any ideas what is wrong?
Thanks for your help.
Vic

Sounds like your paths and/or URLs are not correct. Start here: The images don't load

Thanks guys but no luck..I know I have correct path to the config. My error now is..
Warning: main(home/gaymodel/public_html/geek/config.php/system/databases/mysql.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/gaymodel/public_html/geek/system/lib-database.php on line 114

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'home/gaymodel/public_html/geek/config.php/system/databases/mysql.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/gaymodel/public_html/geek/system/lib-database.php on line 114

I notice it has/system/ but that is not in the path.

I have been 10 hours on this literally. I am close to throwing in the towel as I have no hair left to pull out.

Two things are obvious from the error messages:

1) You should use an absolute path, i.e. one that starts with a '/' as in '/home'

2) You have a 'config.php' somewhere in the path where it shouldn't be. All the paths in config.php itself should only end in a slash and should not include 'config.php'.

If you can't figure it out, post what you have for $_CONF['path'] and $_CONF['path_html'].

You will see by my paths I unpacked public files directly into the public_html and the rest into a file named geek. In an act of desperation I loaded geek into the public_html also. I know this shouldn't be but after the third unpacking I was deperate. LOL

$_CONF['path'] = 'home/gaymodel/public_html/geek/config.php/';

$_CONF['path_html'] = $_CONF['path'] . 'public_html/';

$_CONF['site_url'] = 'http:/64.202.123.185~gaymodel

Exactly the two mistakes I noted above ... It should be

$_CONF['path'] = '/home/gaymodel/public_html/geek/';
