Hello,
I have created a new column for the "gl_topics" table that I will use to base a condition on. I noticed however that when I made some changes to the topics via the topics admin page, the values in the table I created were reset to their defaults.
I am new to MySql, so I took a look in their docs to try and find something relating to column default values but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know why this happens? Is this a GL thing or strictly a MySql issue of having a specific data type for the column? I will need the values in that table to remain unchanged (unless I choose the change them) in order to accomplish my hack.
Any help is always greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
