your ebay banner is sitting above and outside the table that contains both the main column and the right column... try putting it in a staticpage centerblock rather than in your header.thtml, which is what you seem to have done.

also, notice that your footer comes up into the main content area... Not sure what you edited, probably the story templates or you tried your hand at HTML in a story and just wrecked it. the HTML that is in that story is totally buggered. tables inside paragraph tags; table rows and cells not closing (big layout problem there); and other stuff...

I suggest you redo that main page story. I don't mean to be rude--please don't think I am, but that HTML really should be reworked. Maybe some kind soul will do it for you (i'm going to bed) or you can check out htmlhelp.com

hope that helps

Quote by inquest750:uummm, the HTML might be messed up, but doubtful, there are no tables inside paragraphs, but there are paragraphs inside tables... this is fine the last time i checked...I started every page with the same html, table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="searchform">while closing out each tag in the end of the page... and those are static pages on the top and on the bottom... the top static page has been like that since the begining... I have not even touch the thtml files for anything... Can someone who doesn't want to insult me assist me with this please? ... I just went in there and removed both the top and bottom static pages and the only page that gives me a problem still is that one... it is the only one that does not display right...
my apologies, it is not my intention to insult you--as I said earlier.
but, I viewed your page source after geeklog built the page and your html is off. look at the page source, better yet, validate the page if you don't believe me.

I took a few moments and cleaned it up for myself and all the problems went away. So I'm not being rude. I am trying to help.

try this on for size... don't use tables. just limit yourself to paragraphs, lists, headings, etc. see if that gets you any further.

you exaggerated your point... I was copying and pasting my table tags in there and accidentally copied the table tag twice... that was the only mistake I found... once I removed that the page displays fine.... it was the only page that was having the problem... If indeed my code was as horrible as you claimed... wouldn't everypage be messed up? I'll run it through a validator anyway... thanks for your time and help...
