Updating geeklog 1.3.11 from 1.3.9 on redhat 7.2. Getting the following error.
Fatal error: Failed opening required 'PHP/Compat.php' (include_path=':.:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/geeklog/public_html/lib-common.php on line 148
I checked php.ini and the only path in there is /usr/share/pear?? it that right?
I can enter the full path to PHP/Compat in lib-common and it will just move to the next function with the same path issue (timing).
Any ideas?
btw PHP version 4.1.2
Mike

For $_CONF['have_pear'] = true; try updating the PEAR packages on your server (if you can, i.e. if it's your own server).
For $_CONF['have_pear'] = false; make sure you've uploaded the PEAR packages that came with Geeklog. Also check Geeklog's error.log for any error message referring to PEAR.
bye, Dirk

Dirk,
The comments in lib-common suggest that if my pear install is not up to date that geeklog will use the PEAR file that came with the install. So do I still need to "upload"?
By upload you mean? update? Make sure it is in the install?
Thanks,
Mike
