Older Stories Block Not Appearing???

Sand Man

Anonymous
I'm running geeklog 1.3.11, Apache 1.3.3, PHP 4.3, windows server 2003, MySQL 4.1. i've just recently noticed that the older stories block isn't showing up. the block is enabled and it's set to display on the left hand side...it's original location from the install. i have over 100 stories so i know there's plenty of stories available to be considered older stories. any ideas??

Try editing and saving the block (without changing anything).

Hmm, no real idea ...

Can you check in the database that the block's 'content' field is not empty (i.e. contains the older stories)?

I was having the same problem as Sand Man. What am I looking for in the content area? Mine is blank.

The Older Stories block will only appear once you have more stories than will fit on the front page.

bye, Dirk
