Yesterday I noticed that 2 GL websites i'm running both started giving the error "An SQL error has occured. Please see error.log for details."
Both error.log files shows:
Thu Mar 24 15:56:29 2005 - 1054: Unknown column 'PID' in 'where clause'. SQL in question: SELECT id,forum, name, date, subject, replies, views, uid, pid FROM gl_forum_topic WHERE PID=0 ORDER BY lastupdated DESC
When I disable the forum centerblock on the index page, the website works fine. Re-enable the centerblock and it errors again.
Has anyone seen this before. I'm guessing it is something with my webhost that would cause the problem on both sites but why would all of a sudden the forum centerblock start causing errors?

perhaps your host made some upgrades to the database server, which now causes case sensitivity in column names. just a guess cuz I have no idea.

that was something i thought of as well. i capitalized PID but didn't make a difference. I will speak with my host as well and see.
