HTML Tags converted to Text

Hi,
Some of my tags are getting converted to UTF8 which fails strict HTML 4.01 checking.
For example, "–" gets converted to UTF8 dash. How can I stop this behaviour?

I don't think this is UTF-8 related.
Not being able to use html tags as regular text is a known bug in Geeklog (well, more like a feature really).
If you want, you can download a Javascript from my site called "HTML 2 Text" (it's in the download section under "Javascripts") that turns those html tags into something Geeklog is ok with (just copy and paste the "converted" text into your stories).
If you edit your stories in the future, you'll need to use it again.
BTW, nice timing. I've just upgraded the script into a new version...
