What's New block, want more descriptive (longer) links

I've got http://www.thearsenicsite.net up and running nicely. I had one reader, and I agree with him, it would be nice if the new links lines were longer. They are currently cut down to one line and it is difficult to understand what the link is. Actually to make this a center block wouldn't be bad either.

The full link title is displayed when you hover with the mouse pointer over the new link (i.e. it's using a title attribute).
