Why Geeklog.net got so high PR

I just found that the PR of Geeklog homepage is 8, seach page is 7, and some other main pages are 6,5,4.

I know some very popular sites have 100k+ uniques/day but they are only 7, Why Geeklog is so high?

I think this is because allmost every site that uses geeklog has a link to geeklog.net at the bottom of each page.

If lots of sites link to one site, his page rank will rise.
