Re-Editing Stories

How do you re-edit a story? I sometimes need to tweak a story's spelling or categorization, but whenever I do I receive an error: "The ID you chose for this story is already in use. Please use another ID." How do I get around this without changing the story title? Would it be best to delete and start over?

I would suggest using the search function on this site for "The ID you chose for this story is already in use".
