cannot read my .rdf feed file from iis server

I am having trouble reading my rss feed file (.rdf)
geeklog seems to update the file fine, but when i try to read/validate the file i get a 404 error...
I think i have tried every permission setting on the file/directory (including everyone full access) but no success..
Any suggestions?
I am running IIS 6.0 on av Windows 2003 server

Fixed it! 
I had to add .rdf to my site's MimeExtension.
