3: I thought the plugin would automatically show up in the admin section but nothing happen. Just how do I enable this plugin to work in my Geeklog?

Hi,

It is more of a hack than a plugin I guess by calling it a plugin you had higher expectations of it than you should.

THere is nothing to add to the plugins menu of your geeklog nothing to twiddle with. You set it up, use the config file to make it work for you then add the link to your site. thats it, nothing else, you now have the Open Directory Project wrapped in your GL.

Nothing else

What did you want it to do? There really is no more to it.

Giving it a try

Well Fjean,

If you go to http://www.mens-source.com/directory/

You will see the ODP code is working perfectly. A couple of things to note however.

1. You will need to go into the config and change the top. I obviously forgot to set this back to the top and currently I think it is set to rock music.

2. Add a link to the ODP on your main page either by adding it to a block using HTML or by adding it to your template again using HTML.

3. Play with the CSS to get it to play nice with your theme.

Good Luck
