My hoster provided me fantastico in order to install geeklog.. I really like it and everything was going good. Yesterday "fantastico" suggest me to upgrade to the last geeklog version. So i did it the way it was there, mean just clicking in "upgrade now" button they provide. I though i would not have any problem cause they did it for me, but now my index page says "An SQL error has occured. Please see error.log for details." I cant even find this log and i am really worried, cause my site is a non-profit organization with lots of visits everyday. Can anyone help me please ? I really prefer to stay with my earlier version than handling with this. Is there a way to recover the way it was ? Fantastico created a database back-up but how do i recover it ? did i lost all my configurations, meant themes, and those kind of things ???? :

I would suggest working this out with your host, but if you have access to your files then you are looking for the directory and file named logs/error.log and it is probably located above your document root (public_html dir). If you host provided you with a file manager, that should be easy enough to look around your files. Once you have the file, report the recorded error here.
If you have phpmyadmin or a similar tool, you can "restore" the db backup that your host created for you--instructions can be found from within phpmyadmin.
hope that helps

this is just a cookie/preference issue and not an error. the default theme is professional, like it is here, but your preferred theme may appear if you are logged in or if you have a cookie on your computer that remembers the theme you last used. something like that...

I've gotten that error a couple of times... Primarily from my WordPress sites... It sounds like you're host is using Fantastico which means they're probably also using cpanel. if this is the case in your cpanel databases section click on repair and see if that fixes it... Not saying that it will, but if it does it sure is fast!
