Cookie problem remains after whitespace removal.

Hi all,
I have searched all my .php files and removed all the whitespaces, I read the FAQ and I still have problems with cookies. The error message is as follows:
Tue Jun 7 16:30:52 2005 - session cookie not found from lib-sessions.php
Tue Jun 7 16:30:52 2005 - ***Leaving SESS_sessionCheck***
I have geeklog installed on a SUSE 9.2 puter.
Any Ideas?
cheers

If you figure this one out let me know. It is the only thing between me and getting my site running properly.
If you try www.abc.com/admin/moderation.php you will probably be able to log in as Administrator or Moderator. That is, if you go through the process of logging in twice! The first attempt will come back with a page that reads that you had an incorrect username or password. Just retype everything again and hit enter. A cookie will even be set properly!
I have tried dozens of alternatives to get my site running, including the FAQs etc.

The only thing I changed since my post here is that I restored the default values in
$_CONF['cookie_path'] = '/';
$_CONF['cookiedomain'] = '';
in the config.php file, and now it works. I get the same error message from time to time, but I can login in as Admin, Moderator or user and subscribe new users.
Cheers
Text Formatted Code
