static page

I installed geeklog and it is running fine except when I set URL overwrite to true in the confiq file and when I want to read the detail of the news, the page cannot be displayed, when I check the URL at the address bar of internet explorer, it is indeed a static URL, and since the page cannot be displayed the static page is probably not there, what could have gone wrong that prevent the static page to be written to the server, I am using a linux server, can some one help

What web server are you using? The URL re-writing feature of Geeklog is not supported by all web servers.
