Can I PW protect specific files?

I got the filemgmt plugin working very well. Now I want users to be able to see the files but only DL ones I let them. I have specific files sales guys need to access but I dont want customers getting.
So is there a way to request a UN and PW or something when they try to DL? Or can I limit it thru their user prefs or something?
TIA

Easyfile plugin is what you need. Allows you to use permissions just like the way stories are handled.
