Professional Theme Question

After scouring the theme FAQ and all other resources I must ask here: I am trying to trim the professional theme down and center it...for the life of me I can find the happy comboination to shrink the bodytext.thtml, header.thtml and the left and right boxes.. Is there a table somewhere which defines what size those boxes are in??

start with this line in professional/header.thtml
<body>
<table width="99%" align="center" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" class="header-envelope">
change the 99% to whatever smaller percentage you want.
Text Formatted Code
<body>
<table width="99%" align="center" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" class="header-envelope">

I have been screwing with that area and was able to get it down to about 50%. I want it to go more but it seems as if it doesent allow itself because some hidden field (or something) is stopping the right side blocks from moving over...they actually stop at the email and printer icons located in the center body so do I have to move them first? If so..where is that code located?

Do you mean that you want to put the header between the left and right columns?

no..I just want to make the header shorter and then bring the left and right blocks in respectively.

The whole layout is a big table with 3 rows: the header is in the top row, the left-middle-right columns are in the second row, the footer is in the bottom row. So if you make the header less wide, the rest will get less wide as well (I hope I understand what you mean, point us to a URL/screenshot please)

Thats exactly what I expected..but now that I look I think the forum block is prohibting the right side from moving over any more. I should probably make that smaller...let me try..where can I modify that setting? The forum size setting?
This is an internal test and I have no URL...sryy..believe me I wish I did!!

Sorry, I never installed or used the forum plugin...but it is possible to use the forum without the right blocks, would that be an option for you? In that case try a site search for: siteFooter and you'll find out how to adjust that.
