I have a site call http://www.erazz.com. On June 21st we started having what seemed to be server problems. Well this led to memory usages going up to 90% and crashing the server. I think we were sent code that has cause us some problems. I need to know a few things.
Can someone hack the email part of the geeklog site to where GL sends out emails and bogs the server down?
I am getting hit by a certain IP that I have banned using the ban plugin. Is there a way for my to totally block that IP so that it doesnt try to keep hitting my GL site?
I have received an email every morning for the last 2 mornings, coming from the server saying there is illegal attachments. I am not sure of these emails yet, but we are getting them in the mornings.
We di find a new user that signed up with us on the 18th and posted a story with us, seems like after that we started to have the server memory problems. We deleted the story and the serve is better now. I just keep getting hit by that IP address every hour or so.
Any help please reply.

you can do that in your control panel under your email settings. As I recall your on a cPanel server aren't you?
cPanel makes this type of adjustment nice and simple.

I did it through cPanel. ...created a default address to which all unrouted mail was discarded.
You can enter :blackhole: to discard all incoming unrouted mail or :fail: no such address here to bounce it.
