Quote by Dirk: Depends on what system they're using. RSS feeds have to be read by a parser (such as the one built into Geeklog, see "Portal blocks").

The feed parser actually resides in lib-common.php.
Instead of trying to extract the code from there, it may be more efficient, though, to get a stand-alone RSS / RDF parser from one of the various script repositories (hotscripts.com, etc.).

The geeklog.rdf file is in a syndication format called RSS 1.0 or RDF.
In order to have your feed contents appear on their sites they would have to have a feed reading script or application installed on their site. How they would included depends on the specifics of their web hosting.
However, if they are sensible, they are using geeklog and they can then create a "portal block" in their blocks admin screen and enter the url of your geeklog.rdf file to syndicate your headlines.
If they are not using geeklog, then they should contact the help/authors of the software they are using to find out how.

Hmm, I seem to be having a Deja Vu ...
As I wrote above, you will need a parser on your other site. Get one off the web somewhere, as the one in Geeklog is too tailored for Geeklog's needs.
Unless your other site is also a Geeklog site, in which case you can simply create a new "portal" block for the feed.
bye, Dirk
P.S. Are you sure you understand what feeds are about? You may want to read up on them.
