BBCode in Forum 2.3

I have Forum 2.3 installed on my site and I have HTML code for everything like Bolds, Images, Links and what not. Obviously this is a big security hole so I have disabled it. I however do not see an option for BBCode to be turned on? Is BBCode in 2.3 or was it something added to 2.3.1 or 2.3.2?

There is no native bbcode support. The forum uses the same HTML filter called the GL filter in the forum admin settings page. If you have only enabled the html bold tags in your site's config.php then all other html will be stripped.
