Comment system of geeklog is used by geekary ...
After posting "comment" it shows an error page .....
However on revisiting or refreshing the page the comment is there as well as comment count has gone up.

another problem :

I tried to adjust the default rows and columns to values like , say, 2 and 2 or 4 and 4 but however I may try - I even altered at the database ..... it still takes up some default value of 1 and 5 ( how many rows and how many columns of pixes ) seemingly from no where. Any help will be grealy appreciated.


For images, gallery and coppermine are "too heavy" ... 4images integration does not work...

geekary is fine except those two very important problems

The Geekary plugin is old and hasn't been updated in years. There were a couple of changes in Geeklog's comment system since then, so it's not surprising it doesn't work any more ...

what is surprising is that such an excellent piece was deprived of development ....... it is far lighter than th other bigger ones and yet very feature rich .. going thru the script one finds comments that so and so developments are ( were ) planned for future ..... sad indeed as it was Gl's very own own gallery
