I have searched the site and browsed the plugins but I cannot find a list and I'm not sure my guesses are correct...

The question is:
What plugins and/or custom blocks are being used here at geeklog.net.

I ask because I think using the same plugins will probably be the most stable option and I want to use most of the features here.

Well, if it helps (sorry, too lazy to provide links - use the search):

Plugins:
  • Static Pages
  • Spam-X
  • File Management
  • Forum
  • FAQ Manager
  • Messenger
  • Nettools

Blocks:
  • Who's New
  • Shoutbox
  • Theme Tester

bye, Dirk

That is exactly the type of information I was looking for.
Thx a lot. I cannot see a problem to find them in the download section.

Yeah, Blaine's GLMessenger. It's installed under the name "Messenger".

The forum menu block visible at this forum (above the resources block) is visible only when on a forum page.
How is this done?

This is something that Blaine added to the forum plugin, but isn't in the current release yet. Check his site, maybe he posted something about it there.

bye, Dirk
