I cant get below public_html on my new host. Cpanel did it for me the first time and all was sweet but the server had a diabolic crash 2 days later so I found a new host. This time i am attempting a manual install on the new host because it has no control panel. I ftp'd evrything up, created the db & read the docs and stopped! Can I have all the files at a public level?
