This has probably been asked before, but I couldent find anything while searching...

I want to have a story show up first in a speciffic topic always but not featured... (I dont want it on the home page)

How can I go about doing this?

perhaps you could put the story into a staticpage centerblock set to appear only in your intended topic. just view source of your story and copy and paste the appropriate HTML into the staticpage editor.

but that's just one less than dynamic approach.

Why going through circles when you can do it in seconds directly through MySql (read my post there)?

Yes, Geeklog has internal support exactly for what you want, although it can't be done directly.

I'm glad to inform, though, that the corresponding bug report claims it already works directly in the CVS.
