Hey,
I have been having a problem creating a backup. It was working without problem for some time, but the last 2 have been really small. So I looked into one and all I am getting as a backup is the man page for mysqldump.
My error log gives me:
/bin/mysqldump: unrecognized option `--max_allowed_packet=16M'
The last backup to work in June was only 272 KB. With PHPmyAdmin, my databse is now only 357KB. The server is using MySQL 4.0.24-standard. Anyone got any help on this? Thanks.

This is not an option that Geeklog uses to call mysqldump. Did you add that in $_CONF['mysqldump_options']?
If not, try talking to your hosting service.
bye, Dirk
