Hello,

Is Geeklog available as a standalone server for building/testing a site locally? I know a couple other CMS products that have this available and it's very nice for a newbie like myself. I know very little about php and MySQL so every little bit helps.

Not complaining, just wanted to know before I screw off a few hours trying to install php and MySQL on my own.

Thanks.

If you are on a windows platform, go to http://aeonserv.com/. It has everthing you need in one install.

Thanks so much, mate!

I don't mean to be ungrateful but that includes an old version of Geeklog, right?

Yeah, looks like it hasn't been updated in a while. You could still use it to get PHP and MySQL onto your PC first and then replace the included Geeklog install with an up-to-date version.

bye, Dirk
