Like in topic, enyone traied to instal mod rewrite http://modrewrite.gldir.com/ in geeklog 1.3.11 ??

I now there is rewrite in config.php, but i want get rewrite exacly like in modrewrite.gldir.com - i test old version, not work in 1.3.11 - can you write how to instal property and paste valid files?

I've just put this in my .htaccess file in the public_html directory, it changes
yourdomain.com/index.php?topic=blabla to yourdomain.com/topics/blabla:



Would that be of any help?

No in 1.3.11 this not work, perhaps i do something wrong

I did this .htaccess trick on 2 sites running GL1.3.11SR1 and they work fine. You can adapt the rewrite rule to something else of course.

I did NOT use the rewrite trick from http://modrewrite.gldir.com !

If you know how to rewrite things in a .htaccess file you can rewrite whatever you like. Also have a look at the rewrite guide at the Apache site.
