I have the rewrite option up and running and I understand everytime I post a story I can edit the story-ID for a better url, but is there anyway (hack or something already in the script) to make it so that if, say, I make a story post with the headline "Tom Cruise is nuts" that the script will rewrite the storyid as "tom-cruise-is-nuts"?
That way I'd have a url that looks like http://www.slashfilm.com/article.php/tom-cruise-is-nuts instead of http://www.slashfilm.com/article.php/20050802230323625

You could simply copy your story title into the ID field and Geeklog would remove all invalid characters.
However, "Tom Cruise is nuts" would then become "TomCruiseisnuts" which is probably not quite what you want ...
bye, Dirk
