If it's a bad field, it must be the description, because it's the only field that is noticeably different that than previous version's fields.
[QUOTE Version: 1.3.11#1.3]
A much better version than the one that was shipped with Geeklog 1.3.11.

Hopefully it'd be official in Geeklog 1.3.12.

Don't get me wrong. I'd like to thank the original Hebrew version maker for putting on the foundations. Without him, we'd have nothing. I've just tried to continue his work and complete the first full Hebrew version.

Advantages
==========
* Much more faithful to the English (utf-8 )
version (the original Hebrew version was, for example, very childlish, had lots of unneeded exclamation points, etc. Also, it sometimes came up with translations that were quite unlike the original).
* EVERYTHING is translated (the original version was only semi translated).

What's New
===========
Current Version:
* Fixed a bad translation for "mail users".

Version 1.3.11#2:
* Left the username, password & e-mail titles (used in users.php) in English to make sure visitors would only use English in them...
* Made many improvements.
* Fixed one embarrassing grammar error.

Version 1.3.11#1:
First attempt at a faithful Hebrew version.

Here's what I get:

Geeklog Error
Error Code: 9999

ERROR: OOPS! God Knows

[ Go Back ]

So what's going on?

Hmm, it has just worked...but then failed when I tried again.
See, I keep forgetting and uploading the PHP file instead of zipping it first.
Maybe then I can't re-submit because it's already partially in the database.

Can you tell me when you remove it (since it's PHP) so I'd re-submit it as a ZIP?

Thanks!

Why wait? If you upload it as a .php once and then again as a .zip, they would be 2 different files anyway ...

bye, Dirk

I've made countless updates, would someone convince God to let me upload this file?

Latest attempt - 2/10/2005.

If god doesn't respond, try asking Blaine ... I really have no idea what that message means or what may be causing it. Blaine also has access to the geeklog.net server, so he may be able to install some debugging code.

Btw, if you're trying to upload a new Hebrew language file, just send it to me and I'll replace the old one.

bye, Dirk

Should I e-mail it to you?

But I also like to change the version (to 1.3.11#1.1) and the description (to the one mentioned in the original post).

Yep.

Then include that information in the email.

But e-mailing you via Geeklog won't let me attach files.

How hard can it be to find out my email address? It's listed in pretty much every file in the Geeklog distribution ...

bye, Dirk
