I was wondering how I could completely remove the center story column from my GL site. I want to remove this column and then resize the right side block to fill its space.

ANy ideas?

That doesn't seem to make sense, since there wouldn't be anything left where Geeklog could display its content ...

What is it that you're really trying to achieve?

I am trying to have the home page be a chatterblock and then people can click on the left blocks for the stories and such..

Plugins can take over the index page if they want. The static pages plugin offers that option, for example (aka "splash screen"). It shouldn't be too hard to modify the Chatterblock to do the same ...

I was able to create the static page but how do I make it the 'splash' screen and where do I put the php code for the chatterblock.

I wrapped the static page in a block and I was wondering where phpblock_chatterblock goes so the block displays inside the static page?

I was actually suggesting to modify the Chatterblock's code, but I guess if you put this and this together, you get the same result ...
