Some of what we have been working on at my place involves jsp, asp and php integration. Is there any interest in this kind of thing. Seems like alot of people would be interested in reporting from a SQL server database if nothing else.

I believe this was done by someone or at least tried. I think Blaine was coressponding with the person. Hopefully he will see this. If not, I can ping him.

Yes, we are interested in this.

However, the last 3 or 4 times someone came forward with that idea, we never heard from them again ... One person even claimed to have it "almost working" in MSSQL (I think) and then simply stopped responding.

So be warned that it may not be as easy as you think it is ...

i am not planning on ever porting anything over to microsoft. i was just looking for the best way to keep people from reinventing the wheel. I was thinking about a community built faq on best practices. Static pages work great for getting Geeklog and the LAMP stack to do some reporting with a SQL server backend someone's customer may already have.....
