Hello everyone and thanks in advance for any help you may offer.

I am brand new to Geeklog and have already installed it. I want to add a forum to geeklog, can someone point me in the right direction please?

Forums are available as plugins. You can either user the forum plugin that you're looking at right now or use the phpBBBridge, which wraps phpBB in Geeklog.

dirk, another question if you dont mind. Im sure I should know this but am a bit lost. On the installation instructions it says

Move geeklog/public_html/admin/plugins/phpbbbridge to /path/to/public_html/admin/plugins/phpbbbridge
Move geeklog/plugins/phpbbbridge to /path/to/geeklog/plugins/phpbbbridge
Move a copy of geeklog/public_html/layout/your_theme/phpbbbridge to every theme folder you have under /path/to/geeklog/public_html/layout
Move phpBB2 to the web-accessible location of your choice. phpBB must be located on the same domain/subdomain as your Geeklog install. This allows Geeklog to create phpBB session cookies. Also, if you would like to rename the phpBB2 folder, feel free.

Im confused with the very first instruction wouldnt ya know it. LOL
what exactly is /path/to ?

Replace that with the proper path to your Geeklog install.

Remember when you installed Geeklog and it had "/path/to/geeklog/..." as the default path in config.php? Unless of course you were using an installer like Fantastico ...

Check the config.php on your server. $_CONF['path_html'] should contain the path you're looking for.

bye, Dirk
