How can I add images to the newsletter (Daily Digest)?

Geeklog always sends stories as plain-text emails (which makes sense, since most HTML emails are considered spam these days anyway).

You would have to change COM_emailUserTopics (in lib-common.php) to change that ...

I didn't know it was more likely to be interpreted as spam if it was HTML.

Anyhow as much as I wanted to have a custom colourful newsletter I see I don't know enough yet to change the code you say AND I wouldn't bother now that I know there's a risk for it to go directly to the junk folder!

does anyone have example of a hack for adding html? i don't want to include pics from the stories necessarily but i do need to include our logo and those of our sponsors.
