You know how blogs have a READ link at the bottom of a story which links to the source, I basically need to hack geeklog to do this. It needs to appear at the bottom of the story (be it at the bottom of the article body if it's a full article or the bottom of the intro text if there is no continuation.

The easiest way would probably be to add the link to the story manually and use some CSS to push it down.
The other option would be to do this semi-automatically by writing a plugin that implements an autotag to do this. You would still have to add the link to the story, but as an autotag, which would then be formatted accordingly when the story is displayed.
