Hi,
I bought the events script from another website and would like it to replace the calander. Unfortunataly I can not seem to deactivate the calander, I have tried disabling events and turning user groups off but it wont go away.
And yes I did log off the admin account to check if it was still there.

Help?

The calendar is only loosely connected with the rest of Geeklog. If you disable personal calendars, the upcoming events block, and remove the link from the menu bar (all in config.php), it's pretty much gone from the normal user's view.

You can then also remove the calendar.php and calendar_event.php scripts. The only thing left then would be the Admin's event editor, the link to which is actually hard-coded (in lib-common.php and in admin/moderation.php), but those should be easy to ignore ...

bye, Dirk
